Joining Looper Reed & McGraw in 2007, Joe concentrates his practice on general commercial and construction litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.  He graduated from the University of Houston Law Center.  During law school, Joe interned for the Honorable Lynn Hughes, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and Justice Terry Jennings, First Court of Appeals of Texas.  Joe represents businesses and individuals in the construction and oil and gas industries.  He has gained experience prosecuting and defending mechanic and materialmen lien claims, mineral lien claims, Texas Construction Trust Fund Act claims, breach of contract claims, covenant not to compete claims, trade secret claims and defending bankruptcy preference claims.  Joe has also briefed numerous appeals in various Texas courts of appeals and the Texas Supreme Court for both appellants and appellees.
