Mr. Yale is a Shareholder in the firm and heads Looper Reed McGraw's Oil and Gas Practice Area, which provides oil and gas title examination, transactional and other legal services to energy companies. Mr. Yale is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has over 34 years of legal experience working principally in the oil and gas industry, 27 years of which was spent with ExxonMobil Corporation and its predecessor companies. His last position prior to retirement from ExxonMobil in 2007 was Manager of Land for ExxonMobil's United States Production Organization.
Mr. Yale routinely advises clients in connection with oil and gas asset purchases and sales, joint operations, leasing, farmouts, gas contracts, drilling and seismic agreements, production handling agreements, gathering and transportation agreements, unitization, pooling, surface agreements and many other oil and gas transactional and title related matters. He performs title examinations throughout Texas, as well as in North Dakota and Colorado. He is regularly engaged as an expert witness on oil and gas legal matters, and otherwise assists clients in resolving oil and gas disputes through negotiation, mediation and litigation.
